You have seen it on television ads. You have read the horrifying accounts in the newspaper. You may have had a friend victimized by it. Identity Theft is rapidly becoming a very costly crime; estimates in the billions of dollars annually. Identity Theft is often committed by identity-theft rings, well organized and equipped to attack unsuspecting victims. The devastation of this crime goes well beyond the personal violation of ones privacy. It involves months of counseling and correspondence to restore the financial liabilities and creditworthiness. Businesses are also victims through these schemes, incurring losses of its own. Safeguards are imperative to reduce the risks of confidential records and information getting into the hands of the criminal expert. This Workshop is designed to expose identity theft risks and impact as well as offer preventive measures for both personal and business use. --- Registration, coffee, and pastries at 7:45 am --- Event Cost $15 --- Event Sponsor Pre-paid Legal
