The increased competition of a global marketplace requires firms to advertise, compete, and win if they are to survive. However, greater pressures to optimize costs due to the nature of our economy has firms hard-pressed to advertise their products and services effectively. Campaigns can cost a great deal and generate nothing or create windfalls. How do we know beforehand? Is there any way to plan? To manage better? Can we stop wasting money on campaigns that do not produce?
